It has been a very nice summer. Hopefully the pleasant weather will extend into September and October. I haven't been home as much as I normally am. Family responsibilities have kept me busy. No complaints. My garden has generally just been doing its thing. Every year I have grand plans. Those plans got shelved in the spring so I have been trying to enjoy it and not over think anything. Luckily that spring moisture helped every get establish which has helped when the temperatures have soared into the upper 90s with little moisture.
The plan for the remainder of the growing season it to figure what died and needs to be replaced; figure out what did too well and needs to be divided or thinned; think about 2020; and most importantly get the crawl spaced organized so I can get everything inside for the winter without too much of a mess. The last thought is wishful thinking!
