Mighty Christmas Cactus

I keep my two Christmas cactus plants outside in the summer in a nice shady but protected spot.  The plants seem to thrive outside and then consistently bloom when brought inside for the winter.  This summer the poor plants got the crap beat out of them by the hail.  It is was one of the occasions where the hail come from a different direction and I couldn't get them to safety in time.  Normally one blooms around Thanksgiving.  It tried its hardest to bloom considering most of the leaves are dented with pieces missing.  There were exactly four blooms.  I am really proud of the plant for trying and bringing cheer to the dark days.
