It is the first full week of November and I still have some plants blooming and the grass is very green. I don't think I have paid much attention in years past to what might still be blooming this time of year. I am not sure what I am seeing right now is a fluke or the new norm. Last year around Thanksgiving my manzanita bloomed instead of the early spring but that was a fluke because it was very warm last Fall and this year seems a little more normal (but still some very warm days). I just don't know. I like Fall and having the plants go to sleep and not having to worry about them till Spring, but I think those days are becoming the minority. Thanks climate change!! If we don't get some moisture soon I will be lugging the hose out and watering.
