I am so smart or at least it feels that way at least once a week. (That might be generous). Several years ago my neighbor scattered some of the
Botanical Interests Made in the Shade seed mix under one of her pine trees in the backyard hoping something would grow. It turned out to be a great idea and every summer plants come back under the tree. Every year we stand out their and wonder about some of the plants. I finally decided to stop wondering and figure what plants were growing under the tree. I looked up each plant listed on the seed packet and the most prolific plant under the tree is Balsam. I don't even know what Balsam is and if you can buy it around here as a plant. I am sold on it.
