Finally Interested

I am finally interested in gardening this season.  I have struggled since the spring to get excited about it.  I couldn't decide what vegetables to start and plant in the garden.  When I did, I was extremely slow to get everything in.  Normally I putter in the garden weeding and daydreaming.  I haven't really done any of that until now.  I wonder if it was the cooler weather last week that got me motivated.  I spent a good share of Friday planting, digging and moving plants.  Basically making bigger messes and creating more projects for myself.  On Sunday, I went garden bed to garden bed making notes about changes and I also marked up the bulb catalog.  I did get a little too ambitious with that.  There is no way I can plant all of the bulbs I highlighted.  Hopefully I can keep the momentum going and enjoy the rest of the summer and fall.
