Moonflowers

Every year I try to grow moonflowers.  I start them by seed in March or April (depending on when I remember to start them).  Every year I wait patiently for them to bloom.  I am not sure how many years I have been growing them, but I have only gotten them to bloom once.  This year I decided to try something different.  In years past, I have planted them directly into the ground.  This year I planted them in pots hoping the soil would be warmer and they would grow faster and bloom sooner.   I am still waiting.  They are growing well, just not sure how much growth they need before they will think about blooming.  Regardless of what happens this year, I will try again next year.

The moonflowers are in the pots my mother in-law got for me.

Grow!  Flower! Now!
