Goodbye Mr. Pine Tree

All of the landscaping is officially done in my garden (at least for this year).  This year the large Austrian pine was pulled out.  I am so happy I had the pine tree taken out.  It was limiting my ability to add more plants to my yard.  The area looks a little awkward right now, but I know it will fill in.  My only regret is I didn't take any good before shots of the space.  I have pictures to the right and left of the tree, but nothing head on or anything while it was being taken out.

The before pictures were taken at the beginning of April before the rain started.  The grass was dry and brittle.

I planted three Alleghany Viburnum along the back fence. 

Rose "Stanwell Perpetual"

This poor rose was planted elsewhere in the yard and would never grow.
