It has been a challenging start to my vegetable garden this year. I have replanted my sunflowers, beans and cucumbers two or three times now with minimal success. We went from rain to intense sun and no rain. All of the rain invited snails which have been eating all of the little sprouts that come up. I have put out snail bait, but with limited success. On the other hand, my tomatoes look good. They are growing well. It wouldn't be gardening without some challenges.
