I finally broke down and purchased new planter barrels for the yard. I suspect I have had the old ones since early 2000. I know we brought them from our first house to this one. It is not easy finding nice planters for the garden. They had some at Home Depot but they were cheap ones made in China. Yes, the price was right but they wouldn't have lasted. Luckily I found a company out of Denver that sells them and I was able to go down and pick them up. They are so nice. They were real wine barrels. The insides were stained red and still smelled of wine. I almost didn't want to fill them with dirt.
