This is has to be the gloomiest May that I can remember. The sun is not shining; it keeps raining; and the temperatures are cold. I haven't brought out any of my garden stuff and my poor plants keep living in the garage or laundry room because it keeps dropping below 40 degrees at night. I think I check the weather forecast every hour to see if there any change for the better.
There are a few positives - I don't have to water and it is a good time to plant perennials or move perennials. Seriously, there have been years when Memorial Weekend has been way to hot and I am sure I was complaining then so maybe I should enjoy the weather.
