I can't decide what is more pathetic - me for keeping a mostly dead plant or the poor plant itself. The answer is probably me. A couple of years ago I bought a Cuban Oregano plant at the Botanic Garden's Plant Sale. It was a wonderful plant. It lived outside in the summers and did quite well inside during the winters. Two years ago I left it outside a little too long in the fall and it got zapped by the cooler nights. I was surprised, because it didn't frost but did get close and that was enough to just about kill the plant. I cut off some of the few alive pieces and stuck them in dirt. Below is what is left. Please don't laugh too hard. It is really sad. I just need to find a new healthy plant and start over again. That is funny too, because I know deep down inside it can make it and become a beautiful plant again.
