My piggy tea pot died today. I set the tea pot on the range top to boil and I could hear some strange sounds coming from it when I was in the office working. I went into the kitchen and most of the water from the tea pot was on top of the range and not in the pot. What a mess!! Needless to say, I am very upset. I have had this tea pot for 20 years. Scott gave it to me as a Christmas present the year before we got married. Secretly I have wanted a new tea pot, but could not get rid of it because of sentimental value and it was still in perfectly good shape. I don't believe in throwing stuff out that is still useable. I think maybe I will use it as a planter this summer and put something pretty in it.
