Bad News? (And Do I Care?)

I just read this morning on Garden Rant that succulents are out.  I am not sure how I feel about this news.  I have never been one to follow trends so I am skeptical when broad statements are made about what is in or out.  I think gardening is like other things in life.  You have to do you what you like.  Gardening is such a personal expression.  I certainly would not judge someone by what they planted or did not plant in their garden.  I am not throwing out or digging up my succulents any time soon.

In addition to repotting "Poor Fred", I also repotted my Echevaria "The Rose".  It looked pretty bad

I just cut it off and repotted it.
