I am doing something very crazy for 2019. I am starting fewer vegetables from seed. I know it is quite shocking. I made the decision that I would only start vegetables that I can't easily get anywhere around me.
I started eight tomatoes. Yes, that is still a large number but I am not ready to decide what I am growing this year.
Drum-roll please . . . . . . the eight are
I started eggplant. Just three varieties - Antigua, Little Prince and Casper. I also started broccoli, but I think this is last year for it. I can get the Di Cicco at the Botanic Gardens plant sale. As long as they keep selling it, I will be okay.

I'm trying to resist the temptation to start seeds too early but perhaps it's time? I also live along the front range and the snow made sure I know it's still winter lol.
ReplyDeleteNot to make your decisions even harder but I bought Blue Cream Berries and Paul Robeson tomato seeds from Baker Creek if you're interested in swapping seeds :)
