I love annual salvia plants. I also like the perennial variety, but I am more obsessed with the other right now. I think I have 8 different varieties in pots and in the vegetable garden this year. I am trying to figure out how to plant more next year. I am not really sure what the draw is. Maybe it is the variety of colors? Maybe it is the insects it attracts? Or maybe it the light and airy feeling they have? No, I think it is the names they have - Black and Blue, Wendy's Wish, Hot Lips, and Eyelash Leaved. If the weather this winter isn't too cold, I might be able to over winter some of them so I don't have to replant next year, but you never know.
