As the temperatures slowly get warmer, the weeds have started to pop up. I am actually good at staying on top of the weeds and unwanted grass in the sidewalks and garden beds. I rather enjoy weeding. It is a good mental break. I have solved many of the world's problems while weeding.
When I was a kid, we were always tasked with weeding. I know for a fact we complained the whole time. Plus to dig up dandelions, my dad gave us a large knife to dig them out. It has taken me years to understand why he had us dig them out, but at the time it was foolish and on some level kinda dangerous.
