As a gardener, I am always thinking ahead. As the tulips and daffodils are blooming, I thinking about what bulbs I want to plant this Fall. The rule I have for bulbs is they must naturalize. I have tulips planted around the yard that don't naturalize and they are pretty, but I didn't plant them in large enough groups and they don't look right. I could mark them and replant them, but why?!
As the bulbs and perennials are coming up, I am noticing spots that need more early Spring color. I am thinking more daffodils. For some reason they seem more reliable, but I have plenty of time to decide before I get my first bulb catalog.
