I was so excited when I went outside and saw this iris blooming. I planted it last summer. Sometimes iris will bloom the next year and sometimes they don't (or maybe it is just me that has this issue). The picture does not do it justice. It is very small in size - maybe a couple inches tall and the bloom is about the same. I planted two and I think the other one will open soon.
