Fall Asters

I have been trying to add more fall color and interest to my garden.  I am slowly getting there.  In Spring 2013, I dug up a spirea bush that didn't excite me and I planted asters and goldenrod.  I am really happy about how the area has filled in.  I am also amazed at the bees the two plants attract.

Pitcher sage. 

I planted Pitcher Sage at the same time.  I didn't realize I had the same plant elsewhere in the yard.  The Pitcher Sage in this area does a million times better than the other plant.  Actually you wouldn't realize they were same plant.
