Catalpa Tree

It is June 3 and the catalpa tree in the back yard almost has leaves.  This is the slowest I have ever seen this tree put on the leaves.  I suspect the hail storm and then reblooming last summer did not help the situation.  The bottom half put on leaves first and we were worried the top half was dead because there was nothing.  Finally, one day if you squinted just right you could see leaves.  Thank goodness!  I did not want to deal with a half dead tree.
